We manufacture individual parts, prototypes and repeat batches after checking geometry, material, orientation, finish and functional requirements.

At a glance

If you already have an STL, 3MF or OBJ file, we check whether the mesh is closed, whether walls are manufacturable and whether the orientation puts strength and finish in the right places. STEP, STP, IGES, IGS, DXF and DWG are treated as design data and may need preparation.

We do not send a file straight to a machine. We review dimensions, clearances, fragile areas, supports, layer direction, production time and deformation risk. If we find a concern, we explain it before quoting.

FDM printing is useful when a part needs specific geometry, quick changes or a limited quantity. We work for individual customers as well as professional teams.

One unit, several parts or a batch

A single part can solve a very particular need. For repeat quantities, we assess whether setup is shared and machine utilisation genuinely reduces unit cost. At higher volumes, we compare 3D printing honestly with other processes.

Tolerance, finish and strength

Layer lines are part of the process. Strength is directional and the same nominal dimension will not automatically fit identically in every material. We define critical surfaces, required clearance and finish before manufacture.

  • Support marks may remain in agreed areas
  • Critical fits and holes may require a sample or post-processing
  • On-screen colour may differ from the physical material

What we need to know

The file is only part of the brief. Tell us where the part will be used, what load it sees, whether it faces sun or moisture, what must fit and what would happen if it failed.

If you supply the model

You confirm that you may use the file and that its design intent, units, source dimensions and intended use are accurately described. We check the agreed manufacturing points and flag evident concerns; that review does not silently become a full engineering certification of the original design.

  • We remain responsible for using the accepted file correctly
  • We are responsible for the preflight and production work included in the proposal
  • If information conflicts, we stop and ask rather than guess
  • Customer approval never excuses an error in work we perform

Approval and changes

Before production, the proposal identifies the model version, material, physical colour, quantity, finish, critical tolerances and known limitations. You confirm these details. If a requirement changes, we review it before continuing; price or timing changes are explained before acceptance.
