Indoor use and detail
Start with PLA Basic when you need stiffness, detail and predictable production.
Material library
PLA Basic, PLA Matte and PETG HF suit different needs. Compare appearance, stiffness, impact, heat and moisture before the final recommendation.
01 — 05
Relative scales for comparison within this library; they do not replace a technical data sheet or testing of the actual part.
Start with PLA Basic when you need stiffness, detail and predictable production.
Choose PLA Matte when the priority is lower gloss and visually softer layer lines.
PETG HF often offers a useful balance, but it is not presented as a solution for prolonged sun or weather exposure.
No currently offered material is presented as a solution for this exposure; the project must be reviewed before any commitment.
Concept example
Concept studies that make each possibility clear. Scope, source information, level of detail and deliverables are defined for every project.
Images created to explain design and manufacturing possibilities. They are not presented as completed customer work.
Clean finish, good stiffness and predictable production for detail, prototypes and indoor parts.
Smooth surface with a slight sheen; layer lines remain visible at close range.
Rigid and dimensionally stable in normal indoor use, but can deform with heat and fracture under hard impact.
There is meaningful heat, permanent sun, repeated impact or a specific regulatory requirement.
Suitable for one unit or repeat runs; colour, orientation and finish are confirmed in the proposal.
Matte appearance and fine texture for visual objects where lower gloss and less prominent layer lines matter.
Matte, finely textured and visually softened layer lines; actual colour can vary with lighting and batch.
Similar to PLA Basic in indoor use and chosen mainly for appearance; it should not be assumed to be mechanically superior.
Impact, heat, outdoor use or a completely smooth surface without post-processing is the priority.
Useful for one-offs and small visual runs. Colour availability is always confirmed before production.
A functional balance of durability, impact and moisture tolerance for general technical parts.
Smooth, matte texture with more even gloss than conventional PETG; support marks and orientation still depend on geometry.
Tougher than PLA and moisture tolerant, with some flex. It can suit sheltered, non-critical outdoor use after review, but it is not presented as a solution for prolonged UV or weather exposure.
The part will remain in continuous sun, near high heat or requires food/medical certification.
Suitable for one-offs and functional runs after orientation, fit and finish are validated.
Technical fit
You do not need to know file formats, materials or 3D software. Explain the goal and attach whatever references you have.
